The wind blowing through his wispy tufts of hair. Wiping his spectacles he looks at the scenery that surrounds him, right out of a National Geographic magazine page.
But he didn't know what to do next. All these years the dream he had seen, the place he wanted to be at was right in front of his eyes.
Something was missing. Probably her touch, her nagging presence that he hated then but which was missing so glaringly in this defining moment of his life.
A legion of Buddhist monks passing by him, smiling in a unexpectant way.
Out to find the truth of life, traveling far and wide, he slowly but surely started realizing that he was going on the easier route.
